Jason Byrd

Jason currently serves as the Vice President, Integration, leading the Integration Management Office at Atrium Health. As part of his duties, Jason is helping Atrium Health build and lead a best-in-class integration function to effectively implement their partnership strategy. Atrium Health, formerly known as Carolinas HealthCare System, is a public, not-for-profit, integrated health system comprised of over 40 hospitals and 900 care locations serving communities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Prior to joining Atrium Health, Jason worked in quality, policy, practice management and lobbying roles for various national associations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), American College of Cardiology (ACC) and United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS).  

 Jason received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center and Bachelors from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Jason is also a graduate of the Intermountain Healthcare Advanced Training Program (ATP) in Health Care Delivery Improvement and Patient Safety, which is under the direction of Dr. Brent James. Finally, he is a green belt in Lean Six Sigma methodology and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
