Capacity Building for Clinical Providers of the California Prison System

PROJECT AIMS:

Due to an unexpected number of deaths within California state prisons, the California Prison System sought Cynosure Health’s expertise in building quality improvement capacity among its clinical providers.

APPROACH:

Cynosure Health provided in-person and virtual learning sessions with hundreds of participants over a twelve-month period. Using a train-the-trainer model, quality leaders were given the education and tools needed to return to their assigned prisons to make improvements.
