Cynosure Health has an immediate opening for a REMOTE Content Manager (flexible schedule, up to 20 hours/week, $60/hour) to oversee several content and marketing needs, build a blog presence, update the website with current news, provide detailed data driven findings to leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of SEO, experience with WordPress, a background in content management, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment. This is a new position, and you will be working closely with the Creative Director and the Executive Leadership team. As a Content Manager, the expectation is that you will help us build our online presence, work with Cynosure team members and external partners to manage content needs for marketing and virtual learning platform and provide suggestions for improvement based on your subject matter expertise.  

**This is a fully remote 1099 position

Some additional responsibilities of our Content Manager will include:

  • Course Project Management – with the Virtual Learning Platform, we regularly are creating new courses. We are streamlining the process for course creation with internal team members and subject matter experts outside of Cynosure Health. We are looking for you to help lead this process development, manage all course creation and course deadlines, and work with appropriate internal teams to meet deadlines. 
  • Marketing Needs – Cynosure is building marketing plans across several platforms. Your responsibilities will be to help collect all content needed, copy write when necessary, and make sure all information is optimized for search engine. Some responsibilities will be (not limited to): blog writing, social posts, quarterly company newsletter creation, virtual learning platform newsletter creation, proactive emailing, automation emailing for virtual learning platform 
  • Google Analytics – You will have expert knowledge in SEO and google analytics. You will provide regular updates to what is working, what is not working, and make suggestions on how we can improve or where we should be focusing our efforts.  
  • SEO Copy Writing/Editing – all materials will need to be optimized for search engine. We look to you to review all documents and ensure everything is optimized with key words. Projects will include: optimizing website with keywords, optimizing virtual learning platform (landing pages, courses, communities, etc), taking existing key resources/tools created by Subject Matter Experts and optimizing for maximum visibility, blog creation and management

The Communications Department is brand new to Cynosure Health and looking to help the company make their digital footprint even stronger. Traditionally, Cynosure has worked closely with their network for new business but is excited to be taking the leap into the digital world, fostering new relationships and businesses through other avenues. We are a nimble, excitable, and motivated team, driven by wanting to improve health care further and faster. We are a remote company with flexible hours. Our team is based around the country and internationally as well with varying flexible schedules (mostly on Central Standard Time for phone calls). We look for Subject Matter Experts, like yourself, to help us move the business forward, and therefore all work collaboratively based on our skills and expertise to achieve our goals.
